Reliance Retail, an Indian Retailer, is Planning to Open Cosmetics-specialized Stores

The media reported that "Reliance Retail," the retail division of "Reliance Industries," an Indian conglomerate engaged in the oil and retail business, is planning to enter the cosmetics business. As a strategy for business development, in addition to online shops, there are plans to open physical stores specializing in luxury cosmetic brands such as the French cosmetics select shop "Sephora." The company explained that it has already offered more than 48 luxury brands of skincare and cosmetics products in the Indian market, including ARMANI, BURBERRY, and DIESEL. In the future, they plan to further expand the retail business by opening cosmetics-specialized stores.
