Is Amazon opening physical pharmacy stores?
On May 26, the US economic and technical news site "Business Insider" reported that "Amazon", the major online shopping company, is considering opening physical pharmacy stores in the US, and that is going to start full-scale development within one year. Amazon acquired the US online pharmacy PillPack in 2018. In November 2019, Amazon launched its own online pharmacy Amazon Pharmacy, and provides pharmaceutical-related services such as online sales of prescription drugs. According to Business Insider, opening physical pharmacy stores are expected to have a synergy effect with the company's online pharmacy.
