Fashion Brand American Eagle Acquired US Logistics Startup AirTerra
On September 4, it was reported that US fashion brand "American Eagle Outfitter" had acquired US logistics startup AirTerra. Detailed information such as the purchase price is not disclosed. According to sources, AirTerra will continue to operate as an independent brand after the acquisition, providing logistics services to American Eagle. The acquisition appears to be part of American Eagle's focus on supply chain transformation. In October 2020, the company partnered with the US fulfillment company ShopRunner to offer free same-day delivery services in 50 cities in the United States as of June 2021. American Eagle Outfitters said it expects the acquisition of AirTerra to further improve delivery speeds and expand operations.
