US candy maker "Mars" released a platform to support impulse purchase promotion

Mars, a major US candy maker, announced that they will launch AIM (Accelerating Impulse Moments), a solution platform for partner retailers to help encourage consumers to purchase on impulse. The platform can create impulse purchase opportunities in customer journeys across sales channels based on consumer activity data. Especially, they aim to create new sales opportunities at the time of payment and on store shelves. The company's four pillars of AIM are optimizing snack shelves, expanding sales on auxiliary shelves, restructuring transaction zones, and implementing digital solutions.
