Home Depot, the largest home improvement store in the US, has signed a contract with Walmart for delivery business
It was reported that major US retailer Amazon is developing a smart refrigerator that can monitor the food inside and understand the purchasing habits of users. Specifically, the "Just Walk Out" technology introduced in the company's store without cash register "Amazon Go" was applied to the refrigerator to detect the food, and make a personalized suggestion. For example, they plan to add various functions such as recommending recipes based on food and presenting additional orders via the company's app when the inventory of frequently purchased food is low. According to sources, the refrigerators are likely to be manufactured in partnership with home appliance manufacturers.
