LINE has Started an Online Store Creation Service Outsourced by "NAVER"
On October 21, a subsidiary of Z Holdings, and a major online service "LINE" announced that they were outsourced by "NAVER," a major Korean online shopping company to create an online store "MySmartStore," and LINE had started its operation. By using this service, an official line account will be opened for each store, and information such as chat functions and trends in top-selling products will be provided to consumers. Although the initial cost is free, introduced store must pay a sales commission and a settlement commission. Full-scale rollout of the service is scheduled for spring 2022, and if owners apply for the use by March of the same year, no sales commission will be charged. As of October 20, about 10 stores, including sweets specialty stores, have begun pre-use.
