A Major US Toy Retailer TOYSRUS Plans to Resume Business in the UK, Starting with Online Sales
It has been revealed that a major US toy retailer "TOYSRUS," is planning to reopen its UK business, which it withdrew due to bankruptcy. They will start with online sales from 2022, they plan to establish local teams, offices, distribution bases, to promote both physical stores and online sales. According to company officials, online sales have been strong due to the impact of the COVID-19, and since they returned to Australia in June 2021, their business has expanded rapidly. In addition, as a future strategy, it seems that there is a possibility of restarting the business at an experience-based store, which is different from the conventional toy store in the UK.
