ZOZO Announced its Financial Results for April-September 2021. Sales and operating income reached record highs
On October 28, ZOZO Co., Ltd., which operates the fashion online shopping site "ZOZOTOWN," announced its financial results for the 2nd quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2022. Sales increased 15% from the same period of the previous year to 76.2 billion yen, and operating income increased 20% to 23.7 billion yen, both were record highs. In terms of business performance, ZOZOTOWN'S product transaction volume increased 7% from the same period of the previous year to 177.5 billion yen, and the amount of products handled at PayPay Mall has grown significantly. It increased 120% from the same period of the previous year to 19.1 billion yen. In addition, ZOZO's proprietary eyeglass-type measuring instrument “ZOZO Glass” contributed to the increase of profits in the current fiscal year. Since ZOZOGLASS started free distribution in March 2021, the number of orders has exceeded 1.19 million. It has the advantage of finding the best cosmetics by easily measuring the skin color even at home. They said they were able to capture the needs of purchasing cosmetics at home.
