Amazon Japan Opens Two Distribution Bases in Japan That Have Introduced Amazon Robotics

On October 6, Amazon Japan announced that it will establish new distribution centers in Oume City in Tokyo, and Nagareyama City in Chiba Prefecture as distribution bases. As a result, the company will have more than 20 distribution centers in Japan and can increase its product storage capacity by more than 10%. In addition, at the newly opened distribution base, they plan to introduce the latest technology "Amazon Robotics" that utilizes the robots developed by the company and automation technology. It seems to be able to handle everything from order processing to loading on trucks. By introducing these technologies, they will improve the efficiency of operations and speed up delivery.
