"dely" which operates the recipe video site "kurashiru" has started a shopping agency service

It has been revealed that "dely" a subsidiary of Z Holdings, a major online service, will start a shopping agency service for their consumers in the summer of 2021 in collaboration with a grocery store. The service will start from Tokyo, and if a delivery model is established, it is expected to start nationwide. Specifically, when consumers order groceries from the recipe video site "kurashiru" operated by "dely" the courier will purchase them instead and deliver them to their homes in as little as 30 minutes. The use of shopping agency services in the United States is expanding because of the development of online shopping, and in recent years it has been commercialized in Japan as well. At this stage, the difficulty of selling food products via online shopping and infrastructure development are becoming issues.

Vietnamese authorities delayed the enforcement of online shopping tax-related system from August 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022. The new notification stipulates that the companies that operate the online shopping platform pay taxes on behalf of the store owner. As a result of discussions between the authorities and major online shopping companies, the enforcement date was delayed due to the current deficiencies in the protection of personal information. Based on this, the Vietnamese tax authorities will delay the enforcement date and improve the cooperation between the government and online shopping sites in order to standardize the data format and facilitate the tax payment process.
